The sites CNW hosts are spread across multiple physical and virtual servers and servers are load balanced to ensure the best performance. We use the best hardware and networking suppliers - including Hewlett Packard, Cisco, 3Com and Sun Microsystems.

We have separate Internet feeds for web site traffic and dial-up user traffic - this allows us to provide the highest levels of performance for each.

We aim to provide a very reliable service. Our servers average better than 99.75% up-time. Normal maintenance and upgrades are planned then scheduled for off-peak times! All DNS entries and mail exchanges are mirrored — both local and off-site. All systems have full UPS and redundant network and power protection.

Web Mail: Using secure encrypted technology that is used in eCommerce credit card transactions today, our customers can access their secure encrypted e-mail via the Internet. By using this technology, we know that our customers' personal information is safe and secure from hackers. To reduce spam, CNW provides anti-spam technology on their mail servers.
Access Numbers: with more than 7,000 dial-up locations throughout the U.S.A. and Canada, we've got you covered.
Manage Your Account: Manage your customers online via the Internet. Add additional services to your existing account, view/edit plan details, view billing statements and invoices, change credit card information and reset account passwords.
E-mail Tech Support: CNW's automated on-line tech support allows customers to open a trouble ticket with no trouble at all! To submit your support request on-line, click on e-mail technical support, complete the e-mail with a subject and a description of the problem and click send. CNW's system will automatically open a trouble ticket for our technical support team.

SECURE SITES
A secure server safeguards your Internet communications by requesting authentication for server access, encrypting private information and protecting the integrity of your data . While in a secure area you will see either the Netscape closed key, closed lock, or the Microsoft closed lock. These symbols indicate that all data being transmitted, such as your credit card information is strongly encrypted. The secure server extension will also be noted in your browser address bar as "https:// "

With our secure server option, it is possible to do on-line commerce over the Web. The secure server will encrypt the session between the client's browser and your web site using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) so that you can communicate securely with the client and even accept credit cards on-line. Our Secure Server Solution comes with the following:

10 Megs of Space on our Apache Stronghold SSL server for secure placement of order forms and other sensitive data
